Travel Tips to Save Money – Hotel Shuttles / Avoid Rental Cars

When flying into a major city a great way to save money is to avoid paying the shuttle fees to the hotel. First off,  book a 3-4 star hotel that offers a shuttle from the airport *Hiltons, Sheraton, 4 seasons, and etc. If you cannot afford a nice hotel, book a cheaper hotel that is located within walking distance to a nice hotel that does offer shuttle service.

Getting to your  Hotel - After arriving to the airport proceed to the shuttle / taxi area and find that hotels shuttle service. Tell the driver that you do not have reservations but want to book a room that night. Drivers will never refuse to give you a ride as they are told by management to pick up any potential guests.

Getting back to the Airport – Just go to the front of the hotel and wait for the shuttle to arrive. If they request for anything, go to the front desk and ask them to call their shuttle. Front desks do not keep track of all their guest – so they will gladly call the free service for you.
