Just got this netbook yesterday. And it is amazing! Quick boot time, and Windows 7 runs pretty fast for what this thing is packing in hardware. Tried Ubuntu 9.10 NBR and had all kinds of crash issues with just the live USB so decided not to install. The battery on this thing is phenomenal! I am currently sitting here with 99% battery and an estimated 12 hours and 44 mins remaining on the battery life. I was nervous about the screen size but once you get to playing on this thing you don't even notice the size and the picture is great. Now, you can't render Hi Def movies from [...] or anything like that, but a normal video runs just fine. Not sure about any gaming on here, but its not made to play games. Wifi is great, never lose connection and the signal is actually better on this netbook then it is on my desktop. The built in camera is pretty good for what it is and actually takes nice snapshots. It has an option to do bluetooth connection, but not sure if it has bluetooth or not. But overall, I am in love with this netbook. Great battery, picture, and sleek looks. What more could you ask for. My only complaint is that it has a glossy finish on it and finger prints become VERY visible within just once sitting. It also has the glossy disply, but it's not so bad. Ditch the stupid Microsoft office 60-day trial and get Open Office. And like the other reviews, just ditch some of the useless software and this thing will run like a champ. Will be buying another one for my son and wife. Asus did an excellent job with this one.
