Instead of spending over $800 for a ipad that is essentially a large itouch, get a real netbook that can actually run programs instead of just apps. The unit comes with a 1.66 ghz Intel atom processor, 10.1 touch screen, 1gb ram, 4hr battery, and a large 250 gb hard drive. The unit runs great and doesn't get hot. It's perfect for on the go professionals who like to write notes and sometimes need a unit that be operated with just one hand. Surfing the internet is a breeze with there is multitouch so you can do gestures just like on the itouch.  The only thing i would recommend is spending $20 bucks and upgrading the ram to 2gb, other than that this is a great looking, slim unit, and 2lbs light - that performs great and can actually run full microsoft office and all your web based work apps.
