Money Saving Tip: Saving Money on Makeup
Stretch Your Makeup Budget To stretch your makeup budget buy products that have dual uses. Find a foundation or tinted lotion that will help to even out your skin as well as moisturize. Also, be sure that the product has at least an SPF 15.
Or choose a powder that can be applied wet for foundation and dry as a final cover. The powder should also contain an SPF. Either the liquid foundation or the powder can double as your concealer.
Choose a pencil that will work to both fill in your eyebrows and line your eyes.
For a more natural look, use the same powder as you used for foundation as eye shadow. When applied wet it will go on creamy and dry to give you a long lasting color.
Bronzers and blushes also work well as eye shadow. Using the same bronzer and blush on your eyes and cheeks will give you a healthy glow.
Start by applying a light coat of foundation or powder to your lids. Then apply a light coat of bronzer or blush with a damp makeup brush. You should be set all day.
Another way to get that all over natural glow is to use a cream or gel blush and apply to your lips as well as your cheeks.
Or, use a chubby soft lip lining pencil to color your lips then apply this to you cheeks as well.
A gloss lip balm works well as the top coat to give your lips some shine and moisture too.
For most of these products, a little goes a very long way so they’ll not only do double duty but last longer too.
